About Pacific Dream Sr. Drum Corps
Pacific Dream Sr. Drum Corps is a New and growing Sr SoundSport corps in the Portland area started mid summer 2017. We have members from local corps :Hawks, Imperial Crusaders/Oregon Crusaders, Flamingos, Argonauts, as well as top 12 corps, BlueKnights, Santa Clara Vanguard, Cavaliers, and SkyRyders.
Pacific Dream is currently still seeking members to fill out the percussion and brass lines. 2019 will see the addition of a color guard.

SCOTT HENDERSON - Pacific Dream Corps Director
Oregon Performance Arts Association is proud to announce the appointment of Scott Henderson as Corps Director of the Pacific Dream Senior Drum and bugle corps, based in Portland, Oregon. Scott has a long history in the marching arts. Starting in high school where he won many individual low brass player and Drum major awards. Scott started in Drum corps in 1977 with the Oregon Crusaders as a baritone player and Drum major. Later marching with the Argonauts from Salem Oregon and the Anaheim Kingsmen Drum corps. After ageing out of drum corps, Scott marched with the OMTAAMB for several years. Scott then marched several years with the Clan Macleay Bagpipe band. In his last few years with Clan Macleay Scott served as Business manager in charge of performance scheduling, facilities, transportation and fund raising. In private life Scott worked at Freightliner, where he served as Vice President of the Teamsters Union. He is now retired. OPAA is happy to welcome Scott to the Organization.

To offset costs of being a start up, P/D has set (setting) up a GO-FUND-ME account to assist with uniforms, transportation, and refurbish horns; We are very proud to share with the drum corps world that other then tubas (Contra Base to the purest) we are using "G" bugles. We will not amplification, no string or woodwind, and no singing. For our rehearsal dates and performances please visit our Schedule page. Openings
We accept brass players, drums and color guard 18 and over. Drum corps experience is preferable but not necessarily required. Please bring your own mouthpiece, sticks, music stand and guard equipment if you have them and come check us out at our next rehearsal. See the Schedule page. We march some for parades and expect to do some movement for our show this year but individuals with mobility restrictions will be accommodated.
